In 1998, I came to the United States to study accounting at a graduate school in the United States. After graduating from a Japanese university and before coming to the U.S., I worked in the overseas sales department of the semiconductor division of a major Japanese precision equipment manufacturer, where I was involved in the export of semiconductors. I wanted to support Japanese companies operating overseas while dealing with companies from all over the world, and I also wanted to acquire more specialized knowledge. After completing graduate school, I worked for a U.S. accounting firm in San Francisco, and later moved to a Japanese accounting firm. In December 2019, I decided to establish Ozawa and Associates. We welcome Mr. Yayoi Kaneko as a new partner and will offer our services as Ozawa, Kaneko and Associates LLP. We will continue to strive to provide our clients with more friendly and responsive services.

Moss Adams After working as an audit senior manager at an audit firm, he decided to focus on accounting services for Japanese companies. After nearly 30 years of auditing experience as an audit partner and West Coast Regional Director at a Japanese accounting firm in Silicon Valley, he left the firm in December 2018 to join a group of bilingual U.S. accountants and pre-accountants in Silicon Valley in January 2019. In January 2019, I founded Pro-Vider Consulting LLC in Silicon Valley and Pro-Vider Japan GK https://pro-vider-pros.com/ in Japan.　We are pleased to announce that we have established Pro-Vider Consulting LLC in Silicon Valley and Pro-Vider Japan GK in Japan, with the aim of providing more flexible and detailed full-service accounting support to Japanese companies in Silicon Valley. We look forward to working with you.

After graduating from university in Kyoto, Japan, Mr. Ozawa moved to New York to study accounting. In 2017, he relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and continued to work at the San Mateo office of the same accounting firm, accounting for U.S. subsidiaries of major Japanese companies, startups, and venture capital firms. He has also worked in the San Mateo office of the same accounting firm, assisting with accounting audits, accounting services, and J-Sox implementation/operations for U.S. subsidiaries of major Japanese companies, start-ups, venture capital firms, and others. He was also involved in staff training and internal consulting for the firm's offices throughout the U.S. as a member of the quality control department. He joined Ozawa, Kaneko and Associates LLP as a partner in July 2021. He hopes to develop high quality services with an emphasis on providing resourceful services that meet the needs of clients and are close to them.

Graduated from the University of Hawaii in 2000 and obtained CPA license while gaining accounting and tax experience in Silicon Valley, 2006 to 2019, he was part of Ernst ＆ Young's corporate tax department for approximately 13 years, specializing in corporate tax accounting ・ auditing （ tax effect accounting ） and corporate tax compliance, across industry ・ genres, from startups to multinational In 2019, she will join Rakuten Medical, Inc. for three years as Director, Global Tax and Accounting, supporting corporate ・ management, and gaining hands-on experience that is difficult to see from a consultant's perspective. From May 2022, he will be the Head of Taxes at Ozawa Kaneko and Associates, where he will be responsible for corporate and individual tax return preparation and tax consulting services.

With almost 20 years of experience as an accountant, we will provide the required services carefully and promptly to meet the needs of individual corporate forms. We would be happy to assist Japanese companies in bridging the gap between Japan and the U.S. by sharing our knowledge of the day-to-day details and management ・ of their operations.
