6th degree black belt in World Oyama Karate. He trained for 5 years as an uchi deshi (inner apprentice) under Socho Oyama at the New York Sohonbu while teaching classes. In order to spread World Oyama Karate to the West Coast, he moved to San Francisco and founded the San Francisco Dojo in 2001. Since then, he has been actively working on the West Coast, mainly in Northern California.

He is known for his ability to teach karate at any level, from beginner to advanced, and has taught the heart and technique of karate to many Japanese people.
