On May 31, 2024, the California State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) issued a letter [ https://www.santaclaraca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/84078/638530063037070000 ] finding that the City's adopted Housing Element [ https://www.santaclaraca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/84098/638531119242414467 ] is in substantial compliance with State Housing Element law.
